Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) –
Law Society Personal Injury Panel – previously called the Law Society Regulation Board, we are the independent regulatory body of the Law Society of England and Wales. Our purpose is to protect the public by ensuring that solicitors meet high standards and acting when risks are identified.

The overall standard for membership of the Personal Injury Accreditation Scheme is set at that of a competent personal injury practitioner which is defined as:
'a practitioner who can identify and advise on a wide range of personal injury and related issues and who does not perform work that is outside of his/her current knowledge, skills and expertise. A competent practitioner will seek appropriate advice and assistance as may be required to enable them to provide a full and effective legal service to their client.'

Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) -
was established in 1990 by a group of lawyers working on behalf of personal injury victims and now has over 5,000 members. We campaign for better laws to help people who are injured or become ill through no fault of their own.

Employment Lawyers Association (ELA) –
a national membership association. Our services include high quality training, commentary, analysis and up-dates on employment law developments, representing the interests of our members by responding to consultations on new employment legislation.
